Clemence W. Diedrich
Clemence W. Diedrich, 84, of Golden died June 26 at the Hospice of St. John in Lakewood. Diedrich was in the U.S. Army and served in World War II and in Africa. He later became a music purchasing agent for RCA and loved jazz and classical music. He gave to numerous charities, including the Humane Society, Denver Dumb Friends League and a number of American Indian reservations. He loved animals, playing cards, square dancing, vegetable and flower gardening, and cooking. He was married to Doris J. Diedrich for 57 years when she died. Diedrich is survived by his children, Christopher S. Reeves of St. Louis, Mo., Carol J. Santangelo of Chatsworth, Ga., and Judy S. Aberly of Westminster. Diedrich was buried with full military honors at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
Jourdan Taylor Ray Wall
Jourdan Taylor Ray Wall, 6, of Wheat Ridge, died June 26. He was born May 16, 1996 and touched many people in his short life. He is survived by his mother, Jacque Kirby of Wheat Ridge; father, Jamie Wall of Wheat Ridge; aunts and uncles, Amy and Albert Major of Wheat Ridge, Eric and Anna Coates of Arvada, Doug and Luke Kirby of Wheat Ridge, and Renae Bobet of Golden. Wall was buried July 1 in Golden Cemetery. The family asks that memorial contributions be sent to Children's Hospital.
Alwyn C. Dodge
Alwyn C. Dodge, 73, of Arvada died in his home June 22. He was a retired transportation manager and major in the U.S. Army Reserves. He is survived by his children Andrew Dodge and Jeanie Balch, and four grandchildren. He was cremated and inurned June 30 at Fort Logan National Cemetery. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Denver Rail Heritage Society, P.O. Box 481244, Denver, Colo., 80248-1244.
